VERTICAL BOILERS
Complete State of the Art Boiler Systems

CRG offers a full line vertical boilers (Turbo Fire series) to fit your needs. The Turbo Fire Boiler series is available in steam or hot water versions. These vertical boilers are ideal for laundry services, commercial, industrial, and agricultural use. The Turbo Fire Vertical Boiler can also be modified to meet any stainless steel requirements needed for use in the food service and packing industries. For information see below or contact CRG Boiler Systems.

Common Features of the Turbo Fire vertical boilers:
Four Pass Fin Design:
The gases leaving the furnace are split four ways and travel through four individual serpentine passages to the stack outlet, thus transferring heat evenly to the fins and boiler shell, eliminating metal stress.

Steam Storage:
Large steam storage, this helps handle swing and spike loads resulting in quick recovery-response, reducing carry over of unevaporated water.

Turbo Fire (hot water)

  • 6 to 100 HP
  • Pressures 30 to 160 psi - 250°F
Vertical Boilers
Burner:
Only Brand name burners are used Burner is mounted eye height eliminating use of step ladders or having to bend or sit on the floor to work on the burner.

Reliability:

Furnace is water cooled, eliminating problems with refractory breakdown, unlike other vertical boiler units of similar design.

Turbo Fire (steam)

  • 6 to 100 HP
  • Pressures up to 300psi
Steam Boiler
Turbulent Flame:
The flame is forced down with the fire whirling and spinning against its natural flow, this enhances recirculation, mixing and heat transfer, driving more energy into the water for greater fuel-to steam efficiency.

Inspection:
Water side inspection openings are located in the most effective positions. The lower
handholds offer far better access for both cleanout and inspection. Positioning cleanouts in more functional locations avoids, obstruction and tunneling, also the top handhole offers strategic viewing of the furnace crown sheet.
Durability:

Our design does not allow the fire to pass under the bottom mud ring, eliminating the blistering that occurs with other designs. This will allow the cooler gases to be located at the bottom of vessel where the scale is most likely to occur, eliminating baking of the scale.

Installation:
All vertical boiler units are skid mounted, pre-piped and wired ready for field installation, this allows a more efficient, space saving layout.
Service:
Access both top and bottom to fire side fins, also opening above feedwater inlet foe easy cleaning. Completely engineered with the owner in mind, no heavy doors or covers or complicated service procedures.

Safety:
All electrical components are located away from the floor, this prevents the possibility of electrical components being damaged by washdown water or dangerous electrical shorts.

9.5hp Turbo Fire LowNox

  • 9.5 HP
  • Less than 30 ppm
  • Meets California Standards (SCAQMD) for emissions & boiler operator exempt code
Low Nox Boiler
All Boilers are built in accordance to ASME Section 1 of the High Pressure Boiler Code, and Inspected by Hartford Insurance, CO. (CSD 1 Approved)

Options Available:

Most vertical boiler units are available in a complete package, that includes a compact boiler-mounted feed-water system, blowdown separator, pre-piped, wired ready to fire.
