Quality Assurance & Durability
Each boiler is inspected a by Hartford Inspector who is commissioned by the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors, assuring that the quality and durability of the ASME Code is followed in construction of each unit.

The use of computer aided design techniques allows for more accurate calculations of construction material and highest utilization of the boiler's performance.

The computer-aided design has made this unit a space saving workhorse without sacrificing the principle of 5 sq. ft. per BHP

Our (3) pass wet-back eliminates the well known problem of failing refractory baffles between gas passes, this eliminates hot gasses short circuiting directly into the stack, costing thousands annually.

Tube sheets
This (3) pass wetback design has independent tube sheets resulting in uniform temperatures across sheets. This eliminates large temperature variations resulting in pre-mature tube and or tube-sheet failure.

Maintenance & Access
With no refractory baffles to replace or maintain means this is a cost saving workhorse with easy access, no heavy refractory rear door to contend with, or no burner gas train or linkage to remove, one man can easily open and close this unit for annual inspection.

Efficiency
Each unit is designed for optimum fuel efficiency and has proven in certified test to meet and often exceed the efficiencies of 4-pass dry-back boilers.

Construction: Each combustion chamber is designed with Computer aided calculations to be large enough to allow low heat release for complete combustion. Large 12 X 16 manholes are standard on larger units (70 HP & UP). Hand holes for cleanout are 3" x 4". Front doors are hinged, bolted and insulated to provide easy access to fire-tubes. Rear doors are hinged and davited with 16" diameter access door with 2" observation port, (80 HP & larger). Stack connection is slip-on (2 Pass in Front) (3 Pass in Rear) Each boiler shell is insulated with hi-density fiberglass, and then covered with 22 ga. Grip jacketing coated with International Red, Industrial grade epoxy enamel. Tubes are 2.5" 12 Gauge, 178A Flare Rolled & Beaded on all Power Boilers. Heavy-duty saddle with support legs mounted to heavy-duty steel skid provides support for boiler and burner. Two lifting lugs are securely welded to top of the shell for ease of off-loading and moving boiler into position for final connections.
